Nicole Forrester, Kenya, 2025
A kudu bull pauses momentarily to glance back before disappearing into the safety of the thorn bushes. The lesser kudu is native to Kenya and is much smaller and more graceful than their close relative, the greater kudu. These shy antelope are usually found in thick, thorny bush areas rather than open grasslands. The males are larger and more grey than the females, with long spiral horns used to battle other males for dominance and to show their maturity to females during the mating season.

Dimensions: 33.1” x 22.1” (84cm x 56cm)
Edition: 1 of 50 Framed
