Bedouin Tent

£700.00

Nicole Forrester, Saudi Arabia, 2026

Bedouins are Arabic-speaking, nomadic, pastoralist tribes. Traditionally they raised herds of camels, goats and sheep, moving seasonally to fresh grazing pastures and water supplies. The authentic Bedouin tent is a portable, desert, shelter made from camel or goat hair and supported by wooden poles. Whilst on a road trip from Dammam on the east coast of Saudi Arabia, to Yanbu on the Red Sea coast in the west, we camped in a mango plantation at the base of the Al-Disah Canyon. On the edge of the property this lovely Bedouin tent was erected, dwarfed by the mighty mountain behind it.

Medium/Process: Giclee, Paper: Hahnemühle Bamboo, Frame: Oak - Thin, Glass: Museum, Mount: Off White

Dimensions: 33.1” x 22.1” (84cm x 56cm)

Edition: 1 of 50 Framed
