Giraffes are not very territorial and as they move from one area to another, they join up with a number of others for a while before moving on. A stationary group of these animals is called a ‘tower’ of giraffes, whereas a group on the move is called a ‘journey’ of giraffes. This image shows three giraffes which were walking on the savanna, until two stopped to watch me taking photographs of them - the largest subspecies of giraffe and the tallest animals on earth.
Medium/Process: Archival Pigment-based inks, 12 Colour Giclee system, Canvas, Frame : Floating Black
Dimensions: 40” x 40” (101.6cm x 101.6cm)
Edition: 1 of 5 Canvas Framed
