Nicole Forrester, The Red Sea, Egypt, 2024

This split shot taken in the Red Sea on my swim back to shore, encompasses all I feel about being privileged to be a diver. I was actually free diving and not scuba diving, when I captured this image. It shows the sea surface, which is often all that most people observe; and then it shows the hidden treasure of the variety of bright and beautiful life below the surface, that only a comparative few of us witness.

Medium/Process: Giclee, Paper: Hahnemühle Bamboo, Archival mounting, Substrate: Dibond, Subframe

Dimensions: 30” x 20” (76.2cm x 50.8cm)

Edition: 1 of 25
